The Only Murders in the Building actress, 30, took to TikTok on Thursday to share a blooper video while doing a makeup tutorial with her company Rare Beauty. As Gomez applied lip liner, her grandmother could be heard off-camera asking, “So, how did you end it with that guy?”

In response, the “Lose You to Love Me” songstress froze before saying, “Uhh, I’ll tell you in a second.”

Many fans, including several major brands, quickly commented underneath the post begging for answers. “Patiently waiting for more while sippin’ on a slush,” wrote Sonic, the American Drive-In fast food chain. “Lol, we all want to know,” the San Antonio Spurs NBA basketball team chimed in alongside a laughing emoji.

The clip was reposted to Rare Beauty’s TikTok, which also resulted in a slew of comments. “The eye twitch,” adult film star Mia Khalifa laughed. Makeup artist Stephanie Valentine added, “NANA KNOWS THE TEA,” while TrendMood begged for “a TikTok with nana.”

At the time of publication, the clip has since been viewed nearly 1 million times on Gomez’s account and more than 350,000 times on Rare Beauty’s TikTok.

The Texas native’s personal life has remained largely out of the spotlight following her high-profile splits from Justin Bieber and The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye. She and Bieber dated on and off for nearly a decade from 2010 to 2018, often going long stints without being together. As for her romance with the “Blinding Lights” artist, they made their red carpet debut at the 2017 Met Gala but broke things off that October.

During an appearance on Saturday Night Live in May, the former child star revealed she was single, noting that she doesn’t “want to try the dating apps.”

“I just want to put it out in the universe that I’m manifesting love,” Gomez said. “I’d like to say I’m looking for my soulmate but, at this point, I will take anyone,” she joked.

Previously, the Wizards of Waverly Place alum went as far to say she “hates” dating. “It’s hard and I’m weirded out by the idea that a guy has Googled me before we meet, and that has happened,” she told InStyle UK in January 2016. “I feel like I look 16 sometimes, which is a bummer because I would love to date older guys.”

In an interview with Marie Claire later that year, the pop star admitted she doesn’t “trust anybody,” adding, “Dating can only be fun if I know I’m going to have fun!”

Though Gomez was rumored to be linked to Chris Evans in 2021, the actor recently confirmed he’s single.
